Well I got all grateful for the sun and now the fog has returned. If you’re sitting in the heat, you can take a break in Grover Beach but you better bring a sweatshirt!! I know WeatherReports.com is showing 78 degrees but it’s not that warm here.

Yesterday and today the weather has been my favorite. I like when it warms up and by up I don’t mean HOT. We live by the water to get the perfect weather 50s-80s everyday of the year and WOW is it perfect today. I know the rest of the country is being hammered and we’ve been in our usual weather perfection bubble and I’m grateful that I don’t live there in Hotsville. Well, enough celebration about us…

It’s a wine bar and eatery. We’ve been down to the SLO Down Pub a few times over the last month or so and have found the place to be jamm’n. Each night a local band plays and the crowd has a great time. Tuesday night is the blues jam and my son joined in last week on the harmonica. COOL!! Check out their link and give it a try. Food, drink, music, art and fun. Can’t beat that!!

Yesterday and today the fog burned off early…before lunch!! Looks like we might have a clear shot at the fireworks on the Pismo Pier this July 4th. If you’re going to be in town, enjoy the show.
Also, please don’t shoot illegal fireworks. I shouldn’t even need to ask, but this place starts to seem like a war-zone by July 4th. And this year it’s a weekend so I’m really worried. I kennel my dog out in the country away from the beach so she doesn’t bark non-stop for the entire event. Guarding her ‘herd’ is such a tough job. 
Pismo Car Show

Oh Boy!! We had great weather this last weekend for the Pismo Beach Car Show. Sooooooo many people showed up from everywhere. Traffic around town was colorful with all the antique cars driving around. The entire community enjoys the event each and every year. Hope you were here to enjoy it with us. See you next year!!??!!

Well, we’ve had rain and sun and wind and PERFECT weather is once again upon us. The beach has been packed with families enjoying the beautiful weather. I hope you get a chance to enjoy it soon!!

If you are one of the many visitors these last few weeks to Pismo Beach then you enjoyed GREAT weather and we are so happy that you came to visit. Warm, delightful days have been our mainstay this Spring Break season. I haven’t seen this many people in town for spring break or Easter in as many years as I have lived here (12). More great restaurants, hotels and wine events than ever before.
I’m going to add the summer concert series to the Calendar so take a peek. See ya around town!
